5 Portraits To Share My Love Of Bengals And Photography

[dropcap]H[/dropcap]ey, I’m Andrew Marttila. I began taking pictures of my Bengal, Haroun, for fun while finishing a degree in Neuroscience. Due to the overwhelming response I received from the online community, I decided to open up a pet photography business and began taking pictures for others. Upon graduation it had grown to the point that I was fortunate enough to make it a full-time endeavor. I have had plenty of time to perfect my method as not only do I have a bengal, but my roommate does too.

I absolutely love being able to showcase the beauty of cats, most notably Bengals. They’re unbelievably inquisitive, intelligent, and expressive. My cat never ceases to amaze me with his ingenuity in finding new ways to get my attention because, after all, it’s all about him. Coupled with his persistence is his ability to love and be loved. Some cats are not the most prone to snuggling, but Haroun is the polar opposite. He’s simply not happy unless he’s being cradled.

I’d be super grateful if you could check out my work on facebook and where I post most of my photos, my instagram. My name on there is @iamthecatphotographer. Thank you!
