[ads1][dropcap]C[/dropcap]ontrary to the popular belief, not all feline are loners. Of course, unlike dogs, cats can live quite happily on their own, but it doesn’t mean that kitties don’t enjoy having a companion. Cats that bond tend to become “partners in crime” of sorts, sharing everything from mischiefs to afternoon naps on the sofa. But, if you already have more than one cat in your home, you probably know how funny or adorable their interaction can be.
This video is a great example of the cuteness that’s bound to follow when you have a pair of well-socialized cats in your home. The owner of these two Bengals gave them a bowl of milk they were supposed to share. Faced with an impossible choice (felines are not the most generous of creatures), these cats just couldn’t decide which one of them gets to keep the bowl of milk. So, they steal it from each other, over and over again, which ended up being the most adorable game of bowls, as one of the commenters on the video so eloquently put it. What is the most interesting thing about this video, apart from the fact its super cute, is that these two Bengal cats never get aggressive or irritated with each other.
People often believe that Bengals are somehow more rough than other cats, but it’s just a common misconception, rooted in the fact that this breed has wild ancestors. Although not every cat is the same, and there are aggressive cats out there, regardless of their breed, socialized, happy Bengals are great companions that won’t scratch, bite or attack you. When buying a Bengal kitten, it’s extremely important to check if the cats are socialized properly, to ensure they grow up to be friendly, stable cats like the felines from the video. These two Bengals are so well-mannered and gentle that even their argument is polite!
Before I leave you to enjoy this cute video, I wanted to address the concern that some people had about these two cats drinking milk. Although it’s generally not a good idea to include milk in your cat’s regular diet, giving your cat dairy from time to time won’t harm them. The main concern about milk is that most cats are lactose intolerant, and therefore, might vomit or have diarrhea after consuming it. Of course, if you give your cat milk more often, these adverse reactions can become serious health problems. So, if you do decide to give your cat milk as a treat, do it rarely and don’t give them more than a tablespoon or two!
