[ads1] [dropcap]H[/dropcap]aving a Bengal cat in the house can sometimes be a bit of a challenge. Compared to most other cat breeds, the Bengal has the tendency to get into a bit more trouble. If you own a Bengal cat then you have come to the realization that you must “Bengal Proof” your whole home in order for them not to stick their curiosity in unwanted places.
Here, we see Mia May as “The Chicken Thief” in a very cute video made by Mia’s human. The mischievous Mia May finds herself on the kitchen counter in front of a whole Cornish hen! She doesn’t even seem concerned about the fact that her fur-mama is just meters away filming the little thief in action. Mia who is about two years old (at the time that the video was taken) and weighing about 11 pounds or so clamps her jaw around the 1.6 pounds (mostly frozen) hen and makes off with it!
It hits the floor and Dexter, her cat accomplice, looks as though he’s happy she succeeded, and now he can reap the benefits of her hard work! But he turns his head and when he sees his fur-mama, he decides to pretend like he has no idea what’s going on. Mia continues to find a way to get a hold of the hen and carry it to her desired location, just like a lioness after a hunt. Her desired location is… her food plate! The huntress is not only an amazing thief but a civilized one at that.
The ultimate climax of cuteness has to be the answer that Mia gives her fur-mama as she takes the chicken back from her. Its sounds as if she’s saying “For real? After all my efforts, you’re still taking it away?”. Even Dexter looks a bit disappointed that he can’t get his paws on a piece of Mia’s bounty. The video was made purposely by Mia and Dexter’s human with the hen that she was defrosting to prepare for them. So technically, Mia was just being impatient, not really stealing her human’s dinner.
