Finally, the world of haute couture and runway shows is catching up on what’s really cool: Bengal Cats! Stefano Gabbana himself has quite the soft spot for these wild-looking pets, having incorporated them into his new styles on the catwalk!
His Bengal cats, he mentions in an interview, make “wonderful playmates” and he fell in love with them at first sight. He even takes them to the office with him! What a wonderful source of inspiration for his designs.
These looks from Dolce & Gabbana were seen at the Milan Fashion Week for Fall/Winter 2016-17 that went on in Milan, Italy on February 28, 2016. Stefano Gabbana’s styles were a true reflection of his adoration for these exotic cats.
The Italian label sent out over 90 looks and 4 of the dresses were filled with photo-realistic prints of Bengal cats and kittens in various poses. It captures beautifully the mystery and regal energy of our beloved cats!
It certainly takes a Bengal owner to reproduce the awe-inspiring aura that these cats possess. Large Bengal cat prints coupled with royal-inspired symbols and colours gave these looks an especially majestic feel.
